My Nightmares Wear White is a play about a girl who started at the end and is stuck in the middle. This is a play about waiting rooms, needles, and walking in slanted lines. This is a play about waking up and never sleeping. This is a play about breathing slowly to stay alive. This is not a play about the beginning or the end. This is a play about the middle.

Based on the playwright's real life experiences, this play explores how young people fight through trauma, how they overcome it, or how they still try to - years after it has happened; it is about how young people fight for their injustices however big or small they may be. This play takes a unique look at how we live with and experience pain.

After a three-night run in November 2015, the production is undergoing a major transformation lead by visionary director Karin Randoja for the 2016 SummerWorks Performance Festival in August.

The money collected through this campaign will be going towards production values. Due to the necessary changes in the overall visual aesthetic of the show, we need your help raising the funds to secure props, set pieces, costumes, etc that are vital to the story.

Any additional money raised will be going towards sustaining a future for the show beyond SummerWorks. We will be going to Halifax, NS to perform at the Canadian Association of Pediatric Health Centres Annual Conference in October 2016. After that, we have dreams of touring this show across hospitals in the GTA - and hopefully across Canada one day too - and it would mean so much to us if you could help us make our dreams come true!
