Hello Friends & music fans! SULTANS OF STRING are in the studio recording our 6th CD… a world music CHRISTMAS CARAVAN! And we would love your help to get our album out!

We are independent recording artists with no record company support, so we need to raise money to finish production... But we are not asking for handouts. Rather, we are offering fun incentives to encourage your support - and you can truly become part of this journey with us. You can Pre-order the album, get concert tickets, even Executive Producer credit is up for grabs, along with the front row of seats at our banner CD release concert at Toronto's Isabel Theatre on December 2, 2017! Check out the options to the RIGHT --->     And feel free to get in touch with if you have a suggestion for a reward that you do not see listed here.

We have expanded the traditional notion of Christmas music with Christmas Caravan, injecting it with new-found energy and non-traditional sounds. Recorded and co-produced with JUNO Award winning engineer John ‘ Beetle' Bailey, this isn’t your typical holiday album. You may recognize a few titles, but you’ve never experienced seasonal music quite like this before.

We wanted to make a real contribution to the Christmas repertoire, and create some new standards. This is a Christmas album, but approached from the perspective of a world-music band. We explored diverse genres, from Quebecois fiddle tunes to collaborating with a traditional Turkish string ensemble. We jump from the classic sounds of the Andrews Sisters, to a Himalayan sleigh ride, to African roots music, Gypsy-jazz, rumba flamenco, and ska, to the grandeur of the symphony.  And we made a dream list of our favourite vocal artists to join us, all of whom agreed to join in the fun!

This is our most exciting album yet, and the vocal guests infuse a tremendous amount of energy into our music. Please check out the rewards and see if there is a way you would like to be involved. And of course come see us live in concert when we are in your area. Full calendar here

Together we can create beautiful music — THANK YOU FOR YOUR SUPPORT!
